A Note from the Owner
I am Ted Innes. I've been a drummer my entire life — starting in school band, then rock bands, country bands, wedding bands, big bands, jazz combos, show bands — you name it, I've played it. Since 2008, I've been the director and drummer of the MD Jazz Band, a 12-piece jazz/funk band, and that experience is baked into everything we do here at Musicity.com.
I have personally used most of the products on this website. That's not a marketing line — it's a policy. If I haven't used it myself, I've at least inspected it and seen it in use before it goes on the site. Decades of playing across every kind of ensemble means I know what holds up on a real gig and what doesn't. You won't find filler products here.
